Stairs & Rails
Our stair rail carpenters bring a detail-oriented eye and an experienced hand to every installation. We turn a small pile of spindles and rails into an elaborate stairway, built exactly to your specifications.
Stairs & Rails
A stairway built from a pile of rails and spindles.
The stairway is usually the first thing you see when you walk into a house, and it’s one of the hardest pieces of finish carpentry to get right. Rails have to follow the stair through every turn, balusters have to be spaced evenly and set plumb, and newels have to be solid enough to lean on for decades.
We install stair parts for builders on new homes and for homeowners replacing an old railing or opening up a stairway in a remodel. Whether the design is a simple straight run or a curved stair with a balcony, we build it to your specifications and finish it to the standard of the rest of the house.
